The encoder caps a clip at 20 seconds and about 160 frames so the tab stays responsive. Trim with Start and Length.
Which video types work?
MP4, WebM and MOV if the browser can play them. H.264 MP4 is the safest choice.
Why is the GIF huge?
GIF is an old palette format. Shorten the clip, drop to 8 fps, and use 320–480px width.
Can I convert several videos at once?
